On 28 November 2024, the first European ACRP conference was held in Madrid, organised in collaboration with the Spanish Association for the Repair, Reinforcement and Protection of Concrete (ARPHO).

The conference was structured around presentations by practitioners and experts on the challenges of concrete repair and maintenance for concrete structures.

In the afternoon, a round table discussion was organised on the theme “Current status and challenges for conservation of structures”. It brought together three panellists with European and international experience.

The day ended with the presentation of the Eurobridge 2025 conference.

On that occasion, Christian Tridon, the first president of ACRP, was honoured for his active commitment.
